
Ericka Davis is a proud product of Detroit Public Schools, where her love for teaching and supporting children first took root. Growing up in Detroit, she developed a deep commitment to serving her community and creating educational pathways that empower students of all abilities.
Ericka earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law Social Sciences from Michigan State University, where she strengthened her skills in advocacy, equity, and critical thinking. She continued her academic journey at Wayne State University, earning both a Master of Arts in Teaching and an Education Specialist Degree in Autism Spectrum Disorders, further shaping her expertise in inclusive practices and specialized instruction.
With over 25 years of experience in both general education and special education, Ericka has taught, mentored, and supported students across a wide range of needs. Her career includes roles as a general education teacher, special education teacher, teacher consultant, IEP facilitator, and special education supervisor. In each role, she has built a reputation for her strong understanding of compliance, instructional coaching, autism-focused program development, and her unwavering dedication to ensuring students receive the services, supports, and opportunities they deserve.
Ericka is known for her ability to strengthen systems, support teachers, and build relationships with families. She is passionate about early intervention, autism services, and creating inclusive environments that honor each child’s strengths, identity, and potential.
